People Like Me

The Growth Hub, University of Gloucestershire, Oxstalls Lane, Gloucester, GL2 9HW Map

People Like Me is a revolutionary approach to engaging girls with careers in STEM. People Like Me uses the natural tendency of girls to articulate their self-identity using adjectives, to show them that people like them are happy and successful working in careers in STEM.

The training session is aimed at professionals working in a STEM environment and is split into two parts. The first part explores issues with diversity and unconscious bias and the second part is training on how to deliver a People Like Me session for young people.
